The International School Awards (ISAs) offer an opportunity for international schools to celebrate best practice, innovation, community participation and creative endeavours. Shortlisted schools are congratulated for breaking new boundaries, sharing insightful initiatives, and providing rigorous evidence beneficial to the wider international school community.
ISA schools shortlisted for World鈥檚 Best School Prizes
The international schools shortlisted for the 2022 International School Awards and the World鈥檚 Best School Prizes are:
- Larrakeyah Primary School, Australia: In the Top 10 shortlist for the World鈥檚 Best School Prize for supporting Healthy Lives and shortlisted for the 2022 International School Awards Pathways to Continued and University Education Award.
- Green School Bali, Indonesia: In the Top 10 shortlist for the World鈥檚 Best School Prize for Environmental Action and shortlisted for the 2022 International School Awards Environmental Award.
- International School of Zug and Luzern, Switzerland: In the Top 10 shortlist for the World鈥檚 Best School Prize for Environmental Action and winner of the 2022 International School Awards Environmental Award as well as Overall International School of the Year.
- Still I Rise International School, Kenya: In the Top 10 shortlist for the World鈥檚 Best School Prize for Overcoming Adversity and recipient of a Special Commendation Award at the 2022 International School Awards.

The 2022 International School Awards recognised 12 categories focusing on crucial values and areas of development within the international schools market, including community building and wellbeing, digital technology in learning, environment, ethical values education, and future pathways. The World鈥檚 Best School Prizes create an opportunity for all types of schools around the world to share their expertise and achievements to inspire others, specifically celebrating community collaboration, environmental action, innovation, overcoming adversity, and supporting healthy lives.
