Nominations are open for the2022 International School Awards(ISAs).Theawards, hosted by СƵ,provide international schools with the chance to shareand be recognised forgreatpracticeand successful initiativeswithin a range of categories. These include community wellbeing and building stronger community connections, environmentalinitiatives,andteaching and learningas well as categories that highlight innovation and creativityanddigital technology in learning.Category awards also recogniseDEIJ,safeguarding,ethical valuesandinternational impactinitiatives, as well asthosethat supportstudentsin their pathways to higherand furthereducation,andstrategic leadershipinitiatives.
International schools are invited to submitISAnominations,which are open untilThursday30thٱ2021.All the details, including the categories, criteria for each category,guidelinesand application forms areallavailable on the СƵ website.
All applications areevaluated by an expert judging panelbased upon the school and its context,to ensureall international schools, regardless of size orprestige, have the potential to win. New judges on the panel for this year includerecognised educatorsAnu Monga,Samia Al Farra, andAngo Mwakisu.
Shortlisted schools will be announcedon 17thNovemberand will be able to upload theirISAs shortlistedrecognitionlogoto their websitethen.The winners, with details of their winning initiatives will beannounced and recognised at alivevirtual ceremony onTuesday18th January 2021. A recording of the ceremony will also be available to ensure accessibility to schools in all time zones.
