All of us share a common mission–to prepare tomorrow’s global citizens and leaders for life on an ever-changing and increasingly imperilled planet. The conference theme this year has been set to inspire deep reflection on the present state of our schools and communities, to gaze into the future, and consider the actions required, in every dimension of our schools, to ensure that we will provide our students with the knowledge, understanding and tools they need. The future that is more and more visible each year tells us that the status quo is simply not up to the task.聽聽
Together, educators create the future. Together, we can seize the exciting new tools and the rich opportunities that are awaiting. Together, we can and will move bravely to ensure that the young people whose futures have been entrusted to our care are truly prepared for the world awaiting them.
